Golf and Sport Solutions is pleased to welcome Mark Razum, Head Groundskeeper for the Colorado Rockies, to our team. Mark is in his 30th   season in baseball and sports field maintenance and will be consulting with us on our baseball /softball field materials. His career began in March of 1978 in Cleveland, OH working on the grounds crew for the Cleveland Indians and Cleveland Browns. While there he worked under Marshal, Harold and Brian Bossard. 

In 1982 Mark moved to Casa Grande, AZ and managed the spring training facility for the California Angels.  In 1984 he began working for the Oakland Athletics in Phoenix, AZ managing their spring training facility. The Oakland A’s promoted Mark to Head Groundskeeper in Oakland, CA at the Oakland/Alameda County Coliseum in 1989. From California Mark moved to Denver in 1994 as the Colorado Rockies Head Groundskeeper position.

Mark considers himself very fortunate to have been involved in three MLB All Star Games (‘80, ‘87 and ‘98) and four World Series (‘88, ‘89, ‘90 and 2007). We are very excited to have Mark on our team and look forward to utilizing his expertise as we continue to develop new and innovative ball field materials.
